Who we are

geminiomniprompts.org is an independent, fan-operated prompt library. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google or DeepMind. This policy explains what data is processed when you visit the site and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We do not require accounts. Browsing this site does not ask for personal information. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (page views, referrers, country-level location). It is a privacy-first tool that does not use cookies and does not fingerprint or track individual visitors.

The one exception is the newsletter. If you submit the email form in the footer, we store the address you enter, together with the time of submission and the IP address, browser user-agent and referring page that came with that request, in Cloudflare KV. We keep it until you ask us to remove it — there is no automatic expiry — and we use it only to send the newsletter. Email us (address at the bottom of this page) to be removed, and we will delete the record.

We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, session length, approximate location at city level). Google Analytics may use cookies and similar identifiers. For visitors in regions where consent is required, analytics cookies are not activated until you accept the consent notice. You can learn how Google processes this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Cookies

We do not set cookies for our own tracking. However, our advertising partners may set cookies or use similar technologies (such as local storage or device identifiers) when ads are displayed — see the next section. Your consent choice for advertising cookies is stored in your browser's local storage so we can remember it.

Advertising and third parties

This site displays advertisements served by Adsterra, a third-party advertising network. Adsterra and its demand partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud. Depending on your region and consent choice, ads may be personalized based on your interests (interest-based advertising) or non-personalized. You can learn more in Adsterra's privacy policy.

In the future we may also display Google AdSense advertisements. Google uses cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by Google via Google's Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Affiliate links

Some articles and review pages contain affiliate links, always next to a disclosure. They pass through the Admitad affiliate network to the merchant’s own site (for example Homestyler or Retouch4me). When you click one, Admitad and the merchant may set cookies to attribute a later purchase to this site; if you buy, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Admitad reports only aggregated figures to us, such as click counts and commission amounts. We do not receive your name, email address or payment details. See Admitad’s privacy policy.

Your choices and consent

Visitors in regions where consent is required (such as the EU/EEA and the UK) are shown a consent notice before advertising that uses cookies is loaded. You can decline, in which case ad technologies that require consent are not loaded for you. You can also limit ad personalization at any time through aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.com, and by clearing cookies in your browser settings.

Your rights

The only personal data this site stores itself is the newsletter record described above; email us and we will send you a copy of it or delete it. Everything else (analytics, advertising) sits with the third-party partners listed above, and their policies explain how to exercise access, deletion and correction rights with them. For any privacy question, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

This site is intended for a general audience interested in AI tools and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our data practices change — for example, if a new advertising partner is added — and revise the "Last updated" date above.
